Jeez, I haven't seen this thing for a while ... a LONG while. I've been really tired lately, which means I've been sleeping a lot. That would be awesome if I was sleeping at night, but I'm not. I bought a car as well, which I'm tired of gabbing about (believe it or not). That thing is awesome, but it's giving me trouble. Inspections, exhaust manifold problems, exhaust problems in general, not actually having my lisence because my parents are idiots, etc. SOOOOOO my life is pretty much routine right now. I got my ring too, which I'm happy about ... and I had to go back to school (which pretty much ruined this week). That's it, I'm going to ride my bike. |

This week has been pretty kick ass. I got my new upright, AND my new bicycle. The bass has been named Jezebel (for her fiery attitude), and the bike is **APPARENTLY I CAN'T NAME THE BIKE "THE ITALIAN STALLION**. I don't really have much to talk about ... I got the crap I've been waiting on for a while, so I'm set for a long time. Thanks, Sarah, for making me write this crap ... I'll update my journal when I damn well feel like updating my journal, but I'm glad you reminded me of it. |

Well ... this week has been VERY fun. I got off to a slow start on Tuesday after being out Monday, but eventually was able to rebound and make the best of it. I love 5th period APGaP. It's the funniest, most intellectual class I've ever sat in on ... and I think I'll continue to do it. Aside from that my week was pretty much normal. I actually worked today on my position paper, and plan on finishing that along with my essay on rhetoric. I also got done that DBQ I was supposed to have done a long while back. That's pretty much it. |

We all know it, and none of us like it. The "I don't want to leave" feeling that hits you when you get into your room for the first time after a really great trip. The feeling that hits you when you wake up and you're back at home and not where you previously were. Well I've got it ... I hate leaving rallies and LC events. It's just not something I've gotten used to, and it's certainly not something that I ever want to do. But that's all for now; I've got a LOAD of homework to do that I didn't get done before I left. |

I think if I keep sweating I might make the perfect weapon. It's been a while since I rode the ol' white stallion and things aren't looking great. It's not that I have to start over ... it's just that I've only retained a few key skills, like hill climbing. Climbing a hill is a piece of powerbar, but getting to the flat and being burned out is something I've never had to deal with. I've always been a great all around rider and now it's time to up the training again and get back on that physical peak I was on. I could have taken anyone, gone on any ride, and I could have done it all in one gear. I ruled, pretty much. Now it's time to start over. That's what I'll be doing. |

You know what I don't understand? The need for people to announce how LITTLE sleep they got the night before. Honestly, I don't really care. If you're really proud of depriving your body of rest time then please, stop telling us and just write a book. Sleep is important, not something to be taken lightly. The teenage body needs 8-9 hours of sleep ... EIGHT TO NINE, not "four" or "only two". Insomnia is another thing. If you're CLINICALLY proven to be insomniatic then please, we all know that those people don't sleep. You don't need to reassure us every time we see you in the morning. If you're not, but say you are ... may the Lord help you on your quest to try and impress us. Not only does EVERYONE know that insomniacs get less than 5 hours of sleep A WEEK ... FIVE HOURS A WEEK (that's the medical requirement ... which will take you a week in a sleep lab to meet); please, insomniacs, shut up. Freshmen tend to do this more than upperclass men. "Oh man, I only got three hours of sleep last night, I'm so tired" ... hmm ... tired after only three hours of sleep? Are you kidding? As for this hate fest, it's about at it's end. I'm pretty tired. |

Well today was very relaxing. Bike ride with Kirby, Garden State on opening night (it rules, go see it) ... but now I'm back here because I have work tomorrow. I don't really know what to say. Some people act like there isn't time to spend being immature and having fun. I've got three years to start caring. I'm tired. Good-night. |

So here it is, one of the few entries I'll be able to write this week. With all that's going on I don't think I have time for anything else but school! Today was pretty wacky. Lock-down, fire drill, tornado watch ... it's all cause for our freshman class to get smaller within the next two weeks. My classes are all good except for English ... which is full of people who I KNOW will drag me down mentally. Teachers are nice and the bike club should get going soon. As for bikes, the 'ol Peugeot will have to do until my Bianchi comes in from Italy (that's right, Italy suckas). Let me tell you, this thing is awesome. Check it at http://www.bianchiusa.com/brava.html and tell me what you think. This is the closest thing to the Peugeot's geometry I can find. Most road bikes now don't have the straight top tube or the kinked fork ... the tube is either lower (making my center of gravity feel way off), or the fork is straight, but raked at the top (which feels funny all together). This one is perfect. I feel like a geek cause I thought about it all day. My bass comes one the 20th ... or at least it hits the US on the 20th. That's about it. I don't know what else to say. |

Boy have I been blessed. It's hard to tell those who weren't involved with FDC how cool it is to come to work every day, hang out with FDC people almost every night, and do it all summer. I've learned loads of things from you guys that I'll never forget. I'll be there all of next week, the vicoden will be gone and I'll be kid-worthy once more. Here is a shout out to one person who I think have taught me a load about myself.
Dominique- whoa, how awesome is it that we've gotten to know each other this summer? I'm so pleased that we've gotten to spend time with each other, you never cease to amaze me. It's no surprise to me that you won "most mission focused" with me. God has worked overtime through you and it shows. You've got the strength and I'm sure you'll just blaze your way through college and return to the greatest summer camp in the world. I absolutely love watching you interact with kids, and this has really been your summer. They love you, God loves you, and we all love you. |

Yawn ... not much to report here. Just a regular day of cleaning before mom got home. Beach trip in the Wrangler tomorrow, should be an experience. I'll be out for a week so gimme a call. I'll be training for a triathalon so wish me luck! That thing should be really cool. Hayley is helping me devise a training regimine at the gym and Christie has a book on triathaloning. Dominique! Come do it with us! Well that's it for me. I'm pretty much tired of everything ... especially sitting here. A bike ride is in order I think. |
